Actions to take
Due to high heat, you are to take precautions to protect yourself from heat related illness.
1. STAY HYDRATED - Drink plenty of water. If you need water, we can have it delivered to you.
2. TAKE SHELTER IN SHADE - Remain in a shaded area as much as possible.
3. TAKE FREQUENT BREAKS - You should take breaks as needed, shelter in a cool place.
4. UNDERSTAND THE SIGNS OF HEAT ILLNESS - Heat illness can be a very serious condition. If you feel that you have been affected by the heat, immediately notify your supervisor and take shelter indoors.
5. REPORT ANY HEAT RELATED EMERGENCY TO THE OFFICE - Contact the office should you suffer the effects of heat related illness.
6. SEEK TREATMENT - Seek medical treatment should you be feeling ill from excessive heat exposure.
